We work with young people between the ages of 13 and 19 helping them to plan for the future and giving advice, guidance and support. We also provide information in various formats to encourage young people to access help for themselves. (see useful weblinks below)
Between us we work with year 9 and over offering appointments and doing class group sessions and attend various school events including parents evenings. We are also able to offer appointments at the Connexions office if this is more suitable. The office is based in Retford at 8, Spa lane (contact number 01777 710701). Appointments in school are held in the Connexions room which is in the Trent Gardens opposite the gym.
Every year we advertise apprenticeship vacancies for potential school leavers in years 11, 12 & 13. These can be found on the Connexions noticeboard near our room in the Trent Gardens and also on the Connexions website www.sortitonline.com
If a pupil wants to speak to an adviser but does not have an appointment they can go to the Connexions room on Wednesday or Thursday lunchtime for the Drop-in sessions. Everyone is welcome.

Connexions offer support to young people in all aspects of their lives and if needed we will find the most appropriate person or agency to help.
