Here we are finally in resort after a roller coaster ride of a journey. Literally! We caught the back end of the storm that hit Atlanta and had a real turbulent approach to the airport.
We arrived to San Francisco with great weather and saw Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge in perfect conditions.
The first day in South Lake Tahoe greeted us with summer blue skies and awesome groomed pistes. Amazing conditions and breath taking scenery.
Ski Fit
Ski fit can be a real pain but today was very efficient IN and OUT. Perfect.
Ski boots are not exactly slippers and can be a job to put them on. However today was no problemo.
At the peak of the mountain it is approx 10,060 Ft.
If you look to the left you have Lake Tahoe.
If you look to the right you have the Nevada Desert and Carson City.
