Welcome to the governors section of the Tuxford School web site. We aim to tell you a little bit about ourselves and perhaps remove some of the distance that has traditionally existed between us and everyone else involved in a school. As governors we form the top level of management of Tuxford School – this does not mean that you can see us in the classroom (although you might on the odd occasion); our function is to ensure that Chris and his team run the school in the way that we have all agreed. In management speak ours is a strategic role within specific statutory boundaries. We each have specific areas of responsibility (portfolios) within school and work closely with the school’s senior leaders. If there is anything you wish to raise with any of us please do not hesitate to contact us through Mrs Pearson at school. John Rolph I live in Laxton and am married to my wife Tessa.
